LABELS
Solutions for professionals.
Labels are pieces of paper, cardboard or other material that are attached to an object to identify it, classify it, value it or inform about the characteristics of a product. Currently, all items have their label and it is almost impossible to find a product without their particular information.
The labels we see today are the evolution of those that began to be used in Europe in the 16th century, when the first appeared in print. An innovation marked a milestone in this history: color printing. In this context, graphics began to develop rapidly in the 18th century in the midst of the Industrial Revolution. This last contribution meant that the labels were not only used to inform, they also served to capture the attention of consumers. Thanks to technological advances, at the beginning of the 19th century, labels managed to conquer all sectors, being used in all types of packaging. In 1930, a pressure-sensitive label is developed, which is pre-cut and sticks on its own, without the need to moisten the support. R. Stanton Avery, created the self-adhesive label as we know it today which, due to its practicality of use and its resistance, responded perfectly in full industrial expansion to the needs of rapid dissemination of information from products.
Today the power of the label has no limits. In addition to its informative nature, creativity and design are essential to stand out from the rest. True works of art are made to label products.
In addition to these impressive design and creativity capabilities, there is an unparalleled technological capacity in the development of printing machines. From the lithographic process to the digital process of our days, going through offset, screen printing and logically, flexography.
